It is the biggest confusion among IELTS students. Let’s discuss it and through away the tension. This test day advice will make the examiner’s happy. 

When evaluating someone’s IELTS Writing, seeing one large block of text might be incredibly frustrating. This refers to a complete essay with only one paragraph. 

Three things could happen if you don’t skip a line:  1. Because you have not exhibited any knowledge of paragraphing, you will score a Band 5 or lower for Coherence and Cohesion.

2. You will also receive a lower score for coherence because an essay without paragraphs is extremely difficult to comprehend.

3. You will make the task of the examiner more difficult than it has to be, which is generally not a smart idea.

Can we use mechanical pencil in IELTS exam? You may bring an HB or HB mechanical pencil, as well as an eraser and sharpener.

Simply skipping a line or two between paragraphs can help you prevent this. Two would be preferable

Can i use pen in IELTS exam? You can finish your Writing test with a pen or an HB-pencil, but you must write your Listening and Reading answers on the answer sheet with an HB-pencil.
