IELTS writing task 2 sample answer essay: Advertisements-positives and negatives

In this essay, I will examine both the positive and negative effects of advertising and argue that the negative effects outweigh the positive.

For example, if we are in the market for a new car, we can watch commercials, read reviews, and compare prices to find the best car for our needs. Additionally, advertising can help us discover new products that we might not have known about otherwise.
